Every week Lauren asks her guests 5 quick-fire questions…
What’s one thing you wish you’d known when you started this journey?
“Not to be scared of the unknown.”
What’s one thing you wish you’d done sooner in your business?
“Delegate and be more involved in my finances specifically profit and loss sheets. And so then it would only be fair to say I wish I would have got a business coach sooner. Because you (Lauren Armes) were the one that like, whipped me into shape.”
Why do you do what you do?
“I would say the feeling that I get when I’m following up with someone at their last appointment and we’re reviewing their progress, and they are opening their hearts to me about the... health challenges that they’ve overcome. I’m a human at the end of the day and there is that sense of connection, and real reward, and sense of purpose.”
What’s the best part about your job?
“The variety. Whether it comes through the variety of the day, but also the variety of different people who come to me. You’re meeting so many people, and you get a variety of different cases, and different DNA results. Everything is different."
"Flexibility and being able to take time off if I want it - that’s the genuine answer, I think.”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“A productivity hack. I would say that time batching has been life-changing for me. I used to try and do every single thing every day. And oh my gosh, that’s not productive at all so time batching actually figuring out during this hour and this hour this is what I’m going to concentrate on and nothing else, or I’m only going to check emails at this time of the day and this time. That’s been life-changing for me.”
